About the Author...

Dr. McCoy is the author who wrote the entire story about JC Smith used on this website www.jcsmithrevealed.com and it is accurately attributed to him.  

The World Chiropractic Alliance, WCA, and Dr. Terry Rondberg have accepted the resignation by Dr. McCoy from the WCA Board of Directors and we are pleased that the relationship ended on a positive and amiable note. 

In his e-mail Sent: Saturday, April 26, 2008 7:59 AM-Dr. McCoy's resignation from WCA stated: 

"My work in the defense of these chiropractors has to take precedence over everything else – when I am on the stand it has to be about them.  It is for this reason that I am resigning from the WCA Board of Directors.”  

“It has been an honor to serve you as a Board member and I trust that we will continue to work together in those areas where we can serve the profession and protect the principles together.” 

“I hope you know how much your friendship and mentoring has meant to me over the past 15 years and I trust that our relationship will continue for another 15 and beyond.”  

“You, of course, started the WCA and over the years you’ve had some tremendous people on board supporting you. I was fortunate enough to be asked to take Fred Barge’s seat and I was honored to do so.” 

While we respect Dr. McCoy’s choice to resign from the WCA as well as from the chiropractic research and clinical science project he co-founded, it is impossible to rewrite history and remove all the articles and statements written or made by him from the archives of The Chiropractic Journal or other websites. The Journal holds the copyright to those works and it is the policy of the Journal to avoid "tampering" with past issues to accommodate a changing political climate or personal preferences.  
 
I will continue to support chiropractic principles not personalities.
 
I wish Dr. McCoy the best of luck in all his future endeavors.
